I know that I am relatively new to the work of photography. But to me, it is simply a new way of presenting something that has always been important to my work whether writing, drawing, painting, and now through snapping, and that is presenting an image for my audience.
Capturing an image is the keystone of my work.
So, as I begin to work on taking photographs of the people and places around me, the goal is to put together a body of work and present it for people to look at. The main goal would be to put together enough photos that I could put in an exhibition and even in a book.
In the meantime, a Zine is another way to present my work for people to have a look at, so I am currently working on the goal of collecting a number of photos that I can use to depict life in small-town rural England. That is the goal.
I have worked the cover out and decided to call it after one of my favourite R.E.M songs. The cover was taken on the road from Poole to Dorchester. I will post more updates about the Zine as it goes on. I will post some of the pictures here for my paid subscribers.
